HOLD-UP SEQUEL
TRIAL OF ACCUSED. [By Telegraph, Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Jan. 7. The hearing commenced before a crowded court of charges against David McKenzie Stewart, alias'Stoner, and Roy Patrick Hitching, two young men, in connection with tho hold-up of a party of jockeys at Westfield when returning from To Kuiti races, on the night of November 26th. Tho main charges were of being armed with automatic pistol and colt revolver they committed robbery off Samuel and Grace Angus Henderson and three other jockeys (G. Holland, L. M. and R. E. Manson) and with inten to do bodily harm fired a revolver at three men who pursued the accused on a motor bike.
