PAEROA STORE RAIDED. By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 3. Burglars operating in Paeroa during the New Year holidays secured a big haul from the store of All' David ATo Waters in the main street. Yesterday afternoon, when Air McAVaters paid a visit to his shop, which is oi the lock-up variety, he discovered that a rear window had been smashed, and and a number of suitcases and suits of all description were stolen. Those .verc no doubt carried away in the suitcases. The thieves left with their bulky swag through the back door, which was left open. Mr Ale Waters estimates that about £7O worth of goods wore stolen from his shop. The cash register in the shop was broken open, but it contained only about 6s worth of pennies, which were taken.
