Mrs Annie Hansbv, wife of Mr Lo Hansby, of Westport, passed away at Westport District Hospital on Thursday morning. It is proposed to convene a meeting of ladies for next Thursday afternoon at the Town Hall to take up the work of organising for the various functions to ho arranged in connection with the visit of the Fire Brigades competing teams for the competitions to ho held here, opening next month. The S.M.. convicted accused and ordered him to come up loi sentence within six months if called upon, also to pay the expenses within a Ifortnight.
