BEAVERBROOK’S DONATION.
LONDON, Dec. 31. In gratitude for his escape from a motor smash at Surbiton on Decembei 28th. when himself, his secretary, and chaffeur, were injured. Lord Beaverbrook is distributing £25,000. He has already given £I2OO to individuals who first assisted them, including £IOOO to the local medical school. He is' offering £IOOO to the suburban hospital. He asks Mr Baldwin to distribute the Remainder, chiefly to assist medical e<Tn i cation.
