The returns of the Exchequer for the first nine months of the current financial year show the receipts amounted to £-195,023,395. and the expenditure £(523.-14)2.5.15, a deficit of £137.719,159. The revenue for the first nine monthdecreased to £(5.990,917 compared with the corresponding period last year and expenditure £19,403.156. It should iie noted the largest portion of the revenue invariably comes in the last quarter of the year.
