AUCKLAND, Dec. 28. Rain marred the second day of the
Auckland Racing Club’s summer meeting to-day. There was a big drop in the tote receipts, which were £44,311 compared with £72,331 of last year, or for the two days of £140,094-J- com-
pared with £203,844 of last year. Summer Cup:—(l) Pegaway 1, (3) Bright Glow 2, (4) Talisker 3. Won by a length. Time 2.14 2-5.
Criterion Handicap:—Dalston 1, (1) Eaglet 2, (5) Imperial Prince 3. Won by a length. Time 1.19 3-5. Waitemata Handicap:—(lo) Valsier 1, (2) Mcttelus 2, (.5) Uombader 3. Won by half a length.- Time 2.18. Electric Handicap:—(2) Nancy Lee 1. (6) Billikins 2, (3) Silvermine 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.17 3-5. Plunlcet Handicap:—(-5) Thursby 1, (4) Hyde Park 2, (0) Golden Wedding 3. Won by a head. Time 1.47.,
