Telegraph Office:—Open 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. ( and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Telephone Exchange: —Attendance continuous. .Mails:--The usual mails will close at 7.45 a.m. for Greymouth ,Christchurch and North Island. All other nails are cancelled and will be des-nu.'-liecl at the usual time the following day. The town posting boxes will be cleared at 6.30 a.m. ‘ 1
