IN THE SENATE
AN AGREEMENT REACHED

Alter a filibuster lasting over two hours, the warring Senate faction agreed to delay consideration of both the Kellogg Treaty and the Naval Cruiser Rill, until after the Christmas IVCOSS.
Under the agreement both, measures will he* made unfinished business ol the Senate, on the order paper of the 3rd January, and the Senate must then vote on which it desires to take up first.
The agreement was made only as a last resort to prevent the filibuster continuing until December 22nd, adjournment time, and thus tying up all Senate business.
The settlement was proposed by Air Rorah. who pledged he would make a motion as soon as the Senate met on January 3rd to proceed with the consideration of the treaty, in open executive session. Air Rorah indicated lie hoped in that manner to get the treaty passed before the Naval Rill,
