The proprietor ol a clothing manufacturing business, Alexander von Ratenhurg. was to-day fined £lO and costs on a charge of having sent an indecent document through the post.

An excuse that lie had had trouble by inexperienced people applying to him for positions and work being spoiled did not prevent the Magistrate taking the view that defendant had any other desire beyond being iusult-
