A Brisbane message Irom Richmond states the Pitcrsford Station was destroyed by fire on Thursday night, 'flie building is alleged to have been set on fire by a well-known resident of the district, who it is alleged also |j ,•(.(! ;) shot at McMillan, owner of tin.. Station but missed. The man. who is said to be out of bis mind, then cleared into the bush with a rifle. . .
A police party is searching. It is feared he may commit suicide.
