MOTOR CYCLE ACCIDENT. PA Ml ATE A. Dec. 7. ’William .T. Foasy and John Watson, Pahinlua County employees, met with a serious accident, last evening a sboit distance from town towards Mangatadioki. A motor cycle with Watson on the pillion seat collided with an Aard service car proceeding to Palmerston North, when passing a County grader. Watson had a fractured thigh, cut hand and leg and Feasy severe injuries to knee, nose and other abrasions. AA'atson is married with a young family and served with mine sweepers in the Navy and also the Forces in Italy. He was awarded a special medal by the American Government for gallantly rescuing American sailors stranded on a raft in the Atlantic.
