HAL F-Y EARL YA L E ETT NG. 'The half-yearly meeting of the Druids Lodge Westland No. -SO was held last evening. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Outward correspondence was read and approved and inward read and received. Sick pay to the* amount of 02 and accounts amounting to 054 15s lid were passed for payment. Ihe balance sheet was read and adopted. D.P. Bro. Williams ceremoniously installed the following newly-elected officers :—- J.P.A.: Bro. J. L. Turner. A. I).: Bro. T. Lock. Y.A.D: Bro. 0. Noble. 1.C.: Bro. F. W. Selby. A.I). Bards: Sisters A. Ridland and Al. Berry. Y.A.D. Bards: Sisters IT. Selby and E. Ballinger. 0.G.: Bro. T. Brown. 'The re-elected officers P.A. Bro. J. Eox (Secretary), P.A. Bro. E. Ballinger (Treasurer), P.A. Bro. 11.I 1 . Groutsky (Minute Secretary), and P.A. Pro. Eindlay (Auditor) also were installed again in their respective offices. At the conclusion of tho business of the evening tho lodge adjourned to supper in The 'Town Hall, where the following toasts were honoured: ••'The King and the Order,” proposed hv A.D. Bro. Lock. ••Grand Lodge of N.Z.,” proposed I,v p D.P. Bro. Robinson; responded to by D.P. Bro. J. J. Williams and P.A. Bro. Booth (Star of the West). “Officers Elect,” proposed by P.A. Bro. Uarrowman and responded to by Bros. Lock and Noble and Sister Berry. “ 'The Visitors.” proposed by P.A. Bro. Sampson, and responded to by a representative of Star ol the Most. P.A. Bro. Wainman (Scddon Lodge), and Bro. Griffon (Hibernian). . “The Royal Arch Chapter,” proposed by P.R.A. Bro. Guy, who mentioned it probably was the first time in Now Zealand that the installation of officers for the Royal Arch Chapter had taken place on usual installation night for the lodge. The toast was responded to hv B.A. Bro. Robinson, who promised Lodge Westland would do its very best for Hie Royal Arch tlmptei during its term here. During the evening the gathering was entertained by a number of musieal numbers and recitations given by visitors and members, all the items icing greatly enjoyed. Auld Lang Syne concluded a very enjoyable evening.
