CORRESPONDENCE.
BOBOUGH ROAD HOG
(To the Editor.)
Sir, — This letter is a warning to the settler who owns a- large white hoar inthe Upper Koiterangi District. This animal has been wandering round the countryside intimidating the whole neighbourhood and if not properly secured the police will be applied to to |mve the brute shot. This beast is seven 'feet long, three feet high, and lias razor-like tusks six inches in length, giving him a most ferocious appearance” It is horrible to contemplate what would happen if he attacked the school children. One rip and twist f,-om those terrible jaws the child would be disembowelled in the twinkling of an eye. The risk is so serious that some parents are thinking of sending their children to another school. T believe this is an occasion when the Chairman of the School Committee or the village constable should take drastic action to abate the nuisance. L aril, etc.. ONCE BITTEN. Koiterangi, December 3rd.
