Wli.'ii Goddard was informed Scotland Yard desired the key of the safe deposits in his name, he reeled as though in a faint and said. ‘T am done for.” The safe deposits contained new notes winch were traceable to a Soho rostnuranter and others traeeahle to Rebiifli and Meyriek. The Di-plinarv Board of Scotland Yard dismissed Goddard on 29th October. The prosecution added then- was another charge of receiving bribe from the keener of a. disorderly bouse in Soho. The ease was adjourned.
