PILOT’S MIRACULOUS ESCAPE. SYDNEY, Dec. 3. An aeroplanei containing T lying Officer D. Carroll and Mechanic Chadwick, flying from Sydney to Melbourne to-day, struck a tree top near Mittagong. Chadwick and a portion of the aeroplane’s tail were left in. the tice. from which Chadwick fell forty feet. He sustained injuries to the hack and a deep cut on his check.
