THREE SENTENCED TO DEATH

SYDNEY, Nov. 30,
The story of a terrible ordeal of a gill of seventeen at Parkes, who was outraged by young men, was told in the Criminal Court, Sydney, at a trial occupying three days, and which culminated in conviction under the capital offence of three of the accused—Arthur Callaghan, Walter Littlcr, Bert Littler. All were sentenced to death. A fourth man, Edward McCarroil was acquitted and discharged.
