Superintendent Creeke, commenting on the delay which occurred in the alarm being received by the Eire Brigades in connection with the recent lire strongly recommends the restoration of a watchman in the tower, which svstem has been abandoned here foi many years, the Brigade relying mainly on electric alarms.
