AMERICAN PROPOSAL
LONDON, Nov. 29
- Mr Baldwin has received a cable from Mr Britten, chairman of the Naval Affairs Committee of the United States, suggesting a joint meeting of ■ members'"of Parliament in Canad.it,to discuss naval parity. The message was communicated without-delay to; the'-House’ of- Commons} with which will rest a decision.
It is assured of most friendly consideration, but the nearness of the general election is among the difficulties in the way of acceptance.
