Immunity of dogs from distemper can bo secured in the future by inoculation, according to a report by the •Medical Research Council, announcing the success of five years’ study and experiment. The method consists of inoculation firstly with vaccine consisting of inactivated virus of distemper; secondly, after an interval of ten days with an attentuated strain of the living virus. A committee lias invited a commercial laboratory to produce the vaccine.
