MARCONI SHARES
A SENSATIONAL RISE.

LONDON, Nov. 29.
The “Daiy Express” states that shares of the Canadian Marconi, which wore difficult to sell at three shillings in 1927, jumped to 120 s on Throgmorton Street last night. The rise Tv-the most sensational on the Stock Exchange this year. The shares rose 'To 17s on Friday, 12s on Monday, 11s on Tuesday, and then 80s, and were 100 s when the Stock Exchasge closed, but the rise continued in the street after hours. To-day they closed at 116 s.
The demand is due to New York operators believing that the wireless telephone developments will assist the fortunes of the Oanadian-Alarconi Company, which controls the patents.
