more labour gains

Sir John Gellibrand (Nationalist) has been defeated by the Labour nominee, Air Calley, whose majority is 128.
Labour has won two out of the five Tasmanian seats formerly held by Alinisterialists in the House of Representatives.
HERBERT SEAT IN DOUBT
BRISBANE, Nov. 27
The only scat in doubt in Queensland is Herbert, where Doctor Nott is le'ss than a hundred behind his Labour opponent, Mr Alartens, with less timid a thousand votes to check.
Di’ Nott will probably be defeated, but a recount is inevitable.
