Twenty five passenger lorries from Kabul arrived at Peshawar, after being held up seven days on account of tribal risings. A large number of Shinwaris attacked the Afghan military post at Kalii and a number of other villages at Dakka. They were repulsed by the Afghan garrison, leaving scores of dead and wounded.
