BRITISH PREFER ENC E. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received this day at 9. a.m.) OTTAWA, Nov. 21. The Minister of National Revenue, Air * Euler, announces that after February Ist, goods entering Canada under British preferential rates must he fifty per cent Empire nationals and labour. The present percentage required is twenty-five. . The change is hoped to stimulate production within the Empire. A corresponding provision is made in regard to imports under the intermediate tariff, under special treaties and conventions.
