The following is the result of the cricket match between Greymouth and Hokitika Primary Schools played on the Mental Hospital Grounds on Saturday Hokitika won by an innings and

Should White, Freeman and Duckworth play there would then tie something of a tail, because the final of the hatting list would he Tate, Larwood and the three men mentioned. Hobbs, Sutcliffe. Hammond, Hendren. Jadine and Chapman are certainties. Ames, instead of Duckworth, would strengthen the tail. The imaginary eleven does not include Mead and Tyldeslev. There is a possibility that a "bowler will he omitted, entrusting the attack to Tate, Larwood. White and Hammond. In any case Brisbane is a good place to win the toss.
