BODIES RECOVERED.

ADELAIDE, Nov. 16

The bodies of the two youths, Reid and Bradshaw, who have been missing since Sunday were found in thirteen feet of water in the Torrens River by the master of tlie river dredge, who stated he was guided to the spot by a dream.

A TRAGEDY

BRISBANE, Nov. 16,

Guiseppi Gatti, aged forty-one, an Italian, was found shot dead near Ingham. He is said to have attempted to shoot his wife, from whom ho was living apart, but the bullet grazed her temple. Gatti was later found with a bullet in his head.

STABBING AFFRAY. MELBOURNE, Nov. 16

Following the stabbing of an Australian by an Italian, during an encounter, a hundred infuriated men chased three Italians through North Melbourne and were about to storm the house where the Italians had taken refuge, when the police arrived. The victim of the stabbing was Thomas Carr, aged 24. He received a gash on the face. The police in North and AVest Melbourne are apprehensive of serious racial trouble.

SYDNEY, Nov. 16

Tho Labour Council meeting last night was marked by strong scenes owing to attempts to remove Air Armstrong, tho clerks’ union delegate, because he criticised Jock Garden’s attitude in the “dead men tell no tales” the court case arising out of the marine cooks strike. Attempts to remove Armstrong Svere futile and after a scuffle tho Chairman adjourned the meeting.
