— ' x |3y Telegraph—Press Association)'* AY EDDINGTON, Nov. 14. Byrd has decided that the steamer, Eleanor Boiling, shall call at Dunedin first, and she is expected‘to arrive there on Saturday. She will come to AAeliington later, and take in equipment brought by tho Commander. As is usual with these expeditions many gifts, including a ton ol 'chocolate, arc being offered. A fair quantity of stores will ho purchased in New Zealand, such as eggs, candles, matches, clothing and hoots. One of the novelties of tho expedition will he the use ol bottles filled with aniline dye which will be dropped cm the snow. They will break and leave a large red patch, as a guido to aeroplanes. Smoke bombs will also he employed for this purpose.
