November Handicap:—(9) Vesuvius 1, (3) Firelight 2, (10) Trimmer 3. Scr: Jolly Chimes. Won hv a length. Time 4.26 2-5. Jean McEhvyn was fourth.

Metroplitan Handicap:—(3) Dundas Boy 1. (1) Lingfield 2, (2) Harvest Child 3. Scr: Bay Nut. Won by three lengths. Time 4.42 2-5. Chimer was fourth.

Free-for-All, H miles:—(3) Peter Bingen 1, (5) Prince Pointer 2, (4) Jewel Pointer 3. Also started : Groat Bingen and Native Chief. Won by ahead. Times 2.38 4-5 ; 2.39; 2.39 2-5. Peter Bingen’s time is a world’s race record for the distance, the previous best being 2.40 1-5. All the placed horses and even the fourth horse, broke the

previous record. Sockburn Handicap: —(2) Elzear 1, (3) Duke Bingen 2, (1) Maxegin 3. All started. Won by three lengths. Time 4.28.

Royal Handicap:—(2) Logan Chief 1, (4) Talent 2, (6) Golden Devon 3. Scr: Imprint. Won by half a head. Time 2.40 2-5. Talaro fourth (bracketed with winner. Tote investments for the day were £4O, 247. - compared witli £44,039 on the same day last year.

E. O. McDermott was fined £lO for not driving his horse (Xourmahal) out in the Whiteleigh Handicap.
