FRENCH CRISIS
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright).
PARTS, Nov. 6. The crisis was most unexpected. Caillaux sezied the opportunity when Herriot supporters were absent to call a night sitting and the Congress reintroduced a declaration entailing the resignation of Radical Socialists from the Cabinet. The resolution was rushed through before the friends of the Government realised the effect of Caillaux action.
There were exciting scenes at tic t Bourse when the Government’s resigna(f tjfctt was announced. It is expected will ask Poincare to continue, but as lie has no majority without Radical Socialists, it is improbable he will accept. Brinnd is the possible alternative.
CAUSE OF C-RTSTS. (Received this dav at 9. a.m.) PARIS, Nov.
“Le Temps” declares that the Cabinet crisis was due to the action of an irresponsible Club in a furti'c ni^it
session. , The “Loeuvre” plainly asserts the vote at the Radical Congress was obtained by fraud.
