EN ROUTE TO SINGAPORE

BANDOENG, Nov. 7

Leaving Sourabaya at 12.15 (local time) yesterday, Captain Hurley arrived in the Spirit of Australia at Batavia at 4.45. The plane passed south of the Djainbi River at 11 o’clock.

Captain Hurley radioed his thanks to the Commander of Military Aviation, Hocksrnadegroot, for the assistance.

Hurley expects to land at Singapore nt 2.30 o’clock. .

Captain Hurley left Batavia this morning for Burma. He was accompanied by a Dutch mail-carrying aeroplane on route to Holland.

Hurley said it was rather windy over the Timor Sea. although tho weather was fine, but they had becomo used to it now. They preferred Hying over the sea because it is calmer. They leave to-morrow for Victory Point.
