Looking surprisingly well alter his long illness, Herr Stresemann returned to Berlin to resume his Foreign Office to-morrow, but arrangements have been made to relieve him oi the details and enable him to concentrate on an important decision awaiting his attention. Even the Nationalists, who taught bitterly (Stresemann s share of the l/ocaruo. welcome his return hs the man l>csf lifted Lo cope with problems, but they call on him to deal with the so-called new Franco-Mritish Entente which developed during his illness. The newspaper “Germania” particularly urges Stresemann to check the “Anglo-French deviations Irom the Locarno course and thus preserve Germany’s /belief in the Locarno Pact.” Even Stresemann’s enemies, with scant justice, declare the (unman policy has been leaderless during his absence.
