A DAILY MESSAGE
YOU CAN!
I have just received a letter irotn a young man who says he never expects to accomplish anything worth while. He writes:—“l have always been unlucky, and everything 1 touch fails; every step 1 take is a blunder. I cannot get confidence in myself, and I ieel I am bound to be a complete •failure. . . . Can you help me ‘i ” No power in the world can help this young man to the success which he is certain will never be his. AA’liile he remains certain of failure, failure is equally certain of him, for what he seeks seeks him. Early, late, and always, the tilings we seek arc seeking us—and finding us. There is only one person who can put this young mail on the right track, and that is himself. There is only one way lie can get there, and that is by a changed mental attitude. He must sec himself a success and not a failure. He must see himself do. mg worth-while tilings before he can do them. He must step up that ladder mentally bdfore lie climbs up actually. He must banish the “can’t” thought, and feed the “can ” thought. It isn’t easy; but it. is possible, and it is a sure cure for the faliure complex. —M PRESTON STANLEY.
