From an unfinished break yesterday of 851, Walter Lindrum, playing Clark AlcConachv in a match of 18,000 up, took the ' break to 1461. This is a world’s record beating Lindrum s previous record of 1417. The scores at the end of the evening were :—Lindrum 5572 (including breaks of 2-10, 158 and 128 unfinished); McConachy 4130 (including breaks of 139, 100, and 236).
