ROYAL SHOW

PALMERSTON N., October 31
To-day was judging day. at the fifth Royal Show when a splendid array of pedigree stock was presented to the judges. The weather conditions showed an improvement and a large attendance is expected. Additional championships:— Tamworth boar, D. and S. Ross (Tepuke); reserve, Bird Bros. (Oroua).
Downs sow.—D. and A. Ross ; reserve, Bowen and Wilson" (Hastings); Large Blacks boar.—D. and S. Ross; reserve, E. P. Nielson (Tiakitahuna). Sow.—E.. P. Nielson ; reserve, Central Development Farm, Weraroa.
