A Toronto message reports that without .calling upon counsel for Sir Arthur Currie, the Divisional Court to-day dismissed- 4he appeal of W. T. Ri Preiton ahd;:E'. W. Wilson, from the verdict " of‘ fcJbibourg" jury, awarding the Commander of a Canadian corps five hundred dollars damages for liibel.' The Court agreed that nothing had' occurred warranting a new trial. The only error was the trial Judge had allowed too much" latitude to counsel for the defendants. Currie sued for fifty thousand dollars damages on an article published by Wilson and sponsored by Preston, criticising the Commander’s leadership in France.
