iA young married woman last night accepted a proffered car ride .with half a dozen young men. She later told the police that when the car reached some sc nib land at Matraville, en route to Botany, site was dragged •out of the oar and was then criminally assaulted by all of the six men. Her screams attracted notice and police appeared. The assailants then decamped. Two men named Jacy Simpson, aged twenty-three years, a bookmaker, and Charles Webb, aged twenty-two, a farmer, have been arrested 1 and charged with outraging the woman. They were remanded.
