Tucson, the pilot and throe doputysheriffs were killed instantly, or burned when their' plane crashed on the northern slope of the Santa Catalina mountains, the plane ‘ bursting into flames. The four bodies wore burned beyond recognition. .They wore found among the wreckage. The four wore members of a search, party, out for William Hyatt, who disappeared on Sunday 1 while hunting. Within an hour of the finding of/ the bodies, Hyatt reappeared, ho having boon h)st in tiTo bills. Ho was hungry, but otherwise .was uninjured. Hyatt saw the plane flying, aiid ho witnessed the crash a mile distant.
AIR CRASH

When an air mail plane crashed in the day of Pennsylvania and was partly burned, the .pilot, Hopson, was killed but. sightseers picked £15,000 worth of diamonds from the debris and handed them to the police.
