RJN-TIN-TIN—FRIDAY

The attraction announced by the (Princess Theatre for Friday is the Warner Bros,’ production of “Hills of Kentucky,’ ’ for Master Pictures, starring Rin-Tin-Tin, and directed by Howard Bretherton. The story concerns a dog known as “the Grey ■Ghost,” and his pack of outlaw dogs and wolves who have become so feared and hated that a large reward has been offered for. him. One day the Grey Ghost is badly injured and Is befriended iby Davey,' a little cripple boy, whose sister is the new school teacher. Store and Ben Harley, half--brothers off very unlike disposition, are botfl courting the girl. Stew has greater success, and Ben takes the opportunity of shooting Steve when “The Grey Ghost” is near him. Steve is brought to the school teacher’s house. This gives Ben a chance to start a nasty insinuation going among the receptive countryfolk, and it is not long until they will not allow their children to go to the school. With the help of “The Grey Ghost,” this situation is remedied and the girl’s attempted abduction by Ben fs thwarted. Rin-Tni-Tin is supported ■by an excellent cast., including Jason Robards, Dorothy Dwan, Tom Santsohi, Billy Ken Schaeffer, Nanette and Rin-Tin-Tin, Jnr. The? picture was adapted from Dorothy Yost’s story, “The Untamed Heart.” It comse to the Princess Theatre on Friday.

The supports are, Topical, Serial, and Comedy. Coming Saturday, Tim McCoy in “Spoilers of the West.'” On Monday next the great classic by Victor Hugo, “Les Miserables.” will be presented. The world’s greatest picture.

London doctors are once more debating the old old question. “Is smoking injurious?” The well-worn controversy is being fought out afresh in a great London Daily, and opinions differ—as usual. Meantime the man in the street of course continues .to puff his cares away and pursue the even tenor of his. way. Fact is it’s all question of nicotine. Given ’baccy comparatively free from the poison and instead off its proving harmful it will be found beneficial : “V’here is such tobacco to be obtained ?” You may ask. Why, right here in New Zealand! Our Dominion grown “weed” is as free from nicotine as to baeco can possibly be. That’s, where it : differs from the imported, which' contains a big percentage of nicotine. And that’s why New Zealand tobacco can Jbe indulged in ad. lil). without fear of consequences. These New Zealand brands; are of alluring flavour and delightful fragrance. Moderately priced, too. Ask for “Riyerfiead Gold” mild aromatic, “Toasted Navy Cut’’’ (Bulldog) medium, or “Uut. Plug No. 10” (Bullshead) full flavour.— Advt. \ ,
