MR ATMORE’S ADDRESS

NELSON, Oct. 24
H. Atmore, Independent, addressed a crowded meeting in the Theatre Royal last evening. The speaker strongly criticised Mr Coates’ administration and paid a great tribute to Sir Joseph Ward, regarding him as the only statesman in Australasia and approving his loan and railway policy. The candidate was accorded a unanimous vote of thanks and confidence.
