BITZY ■> TO-NIGHT
“Ritzy,” Betty Bronson’s new Paramount picture, promises to be of more than ordinary interest. Elinor Olyn, that'Well-known master of modern fiction, wrote and produced it. But, strange to say, Madame Glyn has strayed far from her usual haunts, 'flic tiger skin is conspicuous by its absence, and iff its stead we have a bright comedy elf modern youth. As its name suggests, “ Ritzy ” is the tale of a girl who suddenly became 11 high hat,” stuck her head in the air, and put on the “ ritz.” Ritzy Brown felt that fate had set aside a coronet for her pretty head. Then, when Harrington Smith came along she stifled her affection, and transferred all interest to the “Duke of Westborough.” But Ritzy didn’t know that Harrington Smith was the real duke, while the second chap was merely masquerading for her benefit! However, things come out all right in the end as Ritzy’s true character floats to the top, and—- “ Ritzy” will be shown at the Princess Theatre to-night. Richard Bosson, the inegaplumist who made Menjou’s “Blonde or Brunette,” and Gloria Swanson’s “ Fine Manners,” directed. James Hall, Bebe Daniels’ hero in both “The Campus Flirt,” and “Stranded in Paris,” is featured. Joan'Standing and William Austin head the supporting east. On Monday the, great picture “The Only Wav” will he the holiday attraci * I tion. On Tuesday “Rose of the Golden West” will be shown.
