SYDNEY, Oct. 16.
The New South Thales Premier, Mr Bavin, replying to a question in the Legislative Assembly to-day, said that the Government would seriously consider the recommendation to the Federal Government of Knighthoods for Captain Kingsford Smith and Lieut. Ulm, in whom every Australian felt the dee {jest pride. The entire crew of the Southern Cross are attending a gay sports ball in their honour to-night at a fashionable cafe.
