TYPHOON DISASTER
HUNDREDS PERISH. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). TOKIO, October 10. Many hundreds of fishermen have been drowned and severe casualties have been suffered among the coastal shipping in a typhoon. Regarding the typhoon, there was no warning ; received. Several steamers have wirelessed that they are in distress. Cruisers and destroyers have been despatched to their assistance.
