An Egyptian official and an Indian with a ehalfcnr and a Bedouin guide, left Cairo oil September 29th. for a day’s .shooting at Wadinatrum, intending to return, in the evening. They carried only one day’s supplies. As they did not return, a search was instituted, including the help ol the British Air Force machines. A two days search was fruit less, but the guide then returned to Cairo, saying that the petrol had been exhausted, and that the party had lost its way. The. airmen then renewed their search, tlie machines Hying low. To-day near Favymim, an airman saw a man clad only in a shirt waving a handkerchief at the end of a rifle. On alighting. lie found that the man was demented. and later the airmail found the other two men in a cave, they likewise being demented. They were stalking each other with rifles. All throe were in a pitiable state. They were given restoratives and were borne in stretchers to the aeroplane. They were then taken to the Heliopolis' Aerodrome, No trace of the motor car has been found. The men are not able to give a coherent account of their adventures.
