SEV EN-ASIDE TOUR NET AT KUMARA. The handsome Saraty Silver Cup will in Saturday he contested at the greatest football tournament ever held at Kumara, for which ‘full arrangements were last evening made by the West Coast Rugby Union. There are no fewer than eleven teams competing, hailing from all parts of the AYest Coast. The draw for the tournament is- at follows: Excelsior v. Kumara B. Rnnu v. Blaketown B. Kokatahi v. Star B. United a bye.. Star A a bye. Blaketown A a bye. Kumara A a bye. Cobden a bye.
ALL BLACKS. (Australian Press Association). (United Service). MELBOURNE, Oct. 2. It is now certain that the All Blacks will travel overland from Melbourne to Sydney, and that they will catcli the “Maheno” on Friday. The five Auckland members of the team will leave Sydney by the “Maranui” the same day. There is a chance of the team staying on the “vmramie” and catching a New Zealand ship on October 12th., but the members of the team are keen to get home, and have resented the suggestion of the extra week’s stay in Australia.
