N.Z. LADIES’ GOLF UNION. MEETING AT AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association). AUCKLAND, October 3. Delegates, representing forty clubs, attended last night’s meeting of the New Zealand Ladies’ Golf Union. The annual report showed that 112 clubs were affiliated, compared with 99 in the previous year, and there was a substantial profit on the year’s workings. Mrs Hw C. Mellsop was re-elected President and Miss M. Payton, Secretary. ' It was decided to hold the 1929 Championships at Shirley Links, Christchurch. , The Coronation Medal on the home links was fixed for the last week of May. AUCKLAND, October 3. Semi-finals. —Miss D. Ghyrstall (Christchurch) heat Miss B. Gaisford (Marten) 1 up at the-, 19th hole. Mrs Guy Williams (Masterton) beat Miss O. Kay (St. Clair) 4 and 1.
