McCONACHY GAINS ON LIN DRUM. I (By Telegraph—" Press Association). AUCKLAND. October 1. McConaehy showed improved lorni at both sessions of the billiards match to-day. In the afternoon h,c scored 919 points to Lindrum’s 750, and in the evening, before a record attendance, he scored 969 to Lindrum’s /51. His average was 114.5, against his opponent's 93.75. Lindruin’s host breaks wore: 367, 296, 214, 124, 106. .McConachy’s best were: 317. 276, 172, 160, 125, 122, llfi, 116, 104. The total scores now arc: Lindrum 10,501; McConacby 9,332.
