A METEORITE FALLS. DELHI, Sopt. 20. An iron meteorite weighing two tons, fell in the villago of Kantli, in Central Provinces, killing two men and injuring a third. Squadron-Leader Noakes, who is the Royal Air Force officer chosen to make an attempt on, a world’s air endurance record, was injured at Martlesliarn Heath," Suffolk, to-day when an aeroplane which lie was testing, crashed. It is' reported his injuries are, not serious. Noakes, ■ who is well known as the inventor of so-called crazy flying,;.was in charge of. the largest monoplane in the world, at the recent Royal Air Force display at Hendon, and ho is one of the oldest and most experienced pilots in the service.
