WESTLAND SUB-UNION. The Committee met last evening at 8: o’clock. Present—Mesrs IT. M. Coulson (President), McGregor, Moore, Stafford, Cutbush, Williams, Breeze, AlcAlaimway. Apologies for absence were made for Messrs Dowell, J. Conlson, and Cooper. INWARD CORRESPONDENCE. From Ground tin Club, notifying their seniors would ho playing at Hokitika on Sept. 22nd.—Received.—It was resolved the Kiwi-Excelsior senior game ho postponed and the Cronadun-E.'t-eelsior senior game he played. ft was resolved to advise Cvonadun in the matter of a share of the gale asked lor. that the Union would consider the making of a grant il circumstances permit.
The Rnss-Rimu junior match play-off for the Breeze Shield was fixed for Saturday, Sept. 22nd. Air AlcAfanawny to ho referee. A statement in connection with the Canterbury-West Coast, match was ta led and approved and ordered tn he sent on to the West Coast Rugby Un-
ion. A donation to the funds from Mr S. ,T. Preston, was acknowledged with thanks. The Treasurer submitted a statement of the, financial position. One account was referred back to the Rimu Club as being liable, for payment. The- other accounts as tabled were passed for payment. The Kiwi-Excelsior senior game for tl,o Howler Cup was set down for Sept. I 29th. It was resolved to take no action m connection with a challenge for the Dittman Shield. The president on behalf of the SunUninn tendered the heartiest of congratulations to flip Treasurer (Mr T-T. D. ATcAfannwny) in connection with Ins approaching marriage.
