N.Z. FIFTY MILE CHAMPIONSHIP, (lly Telegraph—Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 16. The New Zealand fifty mile cycle championship was held yesterday' from Wellington to Mungaroa Hill and hack and resulted : F. Christensen (12 mins) IS. Wright (12 mins) 2; L. MeorhoiLse (12 mins) 3; .T. Whitten (Auckland. 8 mins! 4; H. S. Webber (6 mins) 5. The fast it time was recorded by L. G. Lukey (scr.) 2hrs Sniins 2Gsecs; second fastest time, F. J. Grose (scr) 2hrs 8m ins 524 secs.
At the conclusion of the race the Alayoress decorated L. G. Lukey with the fatest time sash, and presented the other successful competitors with the trophies which they had won.
