Australian Press Assn.—United Service OFFICIAL BANQUET, SYDNEY, Sopt. 11. A thousand guests attended the official banquet given by Cardinal Cerrotti at the City Town Hall which marked the close of the Eucharistic Congress. There was a glittering array nl Knights, Consuls, politicians, military, naval and civil representatives, including the Prime Minister and Mr Bavin. Rousing cheers were given for Mr Bruce, who declared, the Congress should, make a .substantial contribution towards .the peace of . the world.
