(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) THE HOUSE. WELLINGTON, Sept. 7. The House of Representatives spent the afternoon 'discussing tlio Mines Statement, and on resuming at 7.30 tlio House went into Committee of Supply to consider further the Estimates, when tlio following voles were agreed to ;—Cook Islands £39,194, Marine £115,083, Public Buildings, etc., £75,350, Highways £975,000, Agricultural £396,550, State Forests £251,468, Mines £30,783, State Coal £314,479, Tourists £80,410. The House rose at 12.30 a.m. till 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
